About to have a little fun? Great! But before you get down and dirty, establish your boundaries. Figure out what’s up for negotiations and what isn’t e.g. whether or not you will be using a condom (and the answer to that is always a yes!). What if you’re too shy or afraid to discuss this with your partner? Then perhaps you shouldn’t be having sex with them in the first place. Sex is one of the most intimate things there is, so open and honest communication is crucial in making safe sex more manageable.
